We're on the west shore of West Lake Okoboji,
right off Hwy. 86 in Wahpeton

The Iowa Great Lakes are tucked into the prairies of northwest Iowa in Dickinson County, just south of the Minnesota border. The nearest jet service is 90 minutes away in Sioux Falls, SD.


 


Directions from Omaha (Approximately 200 Miles)

  • Take Interstate 29 North to Sioux City
  • Take Highway 75 North to Le Mars
  • Take Highway 60 North to Sheldon
  • Take Highway 18 East to Spencer
  • Take Highway 71 North to Milford
  • Take Highway 86 West (left at Perkins Restaurant) approximately 3 miles.
  • Watch for huge Crescent Beach sign on the left.
  • Turn East (right) at sign onto Edgewood Drive.
  • Proceed about 1000 yards to Crescent Beach on your right.


Directions from Des Moines (Approximately 200 Miles)

  • Take Interstate 35 North to Highway 20
  • Take Highway 20 West to Fort Dodge
  • Take Hwy 169 North to Algona
  • Take Highway 18 West to Spencer
  • Take Highway 71 North to Milford
  • Take Highway 86 West (left at Perkins Restaurant) approximately 3 miles.
  • Watch for huge Crescent Beach sign on the left.
  • Turn East (right) at sign onto Edgewood Drive.
  • Proceed about 1000 yards to Crescent Beach on your right.

 

Directions from Sioux Falls (Approximately 90 Miles)

  • Take Interstate 90 East to Lakefield MN
  • Take Highway 86 South into Iowa.
  • Cross Hwy 9 and proceed another 4 miles south.
  • Watch for the huge Crescent Beach Sign on right.
  • Turn East (left) at the sign onto Edgewood Drive.
  • Proceed about 1000 yards to Crescent Beach on your right.


Directions from Minneapolis (Approximately 175 Miles)

  • Take Interstate 35 South to Interstate 90
  • Take Interstate 90 West to Lakefield MN
  • Take Highway 86 South into IA.
  • Cross Hwy 9 and proceed another 4 miles south.
  • Watch for the huge Crescent Beach sign on right.
  • Turn East (left) at the sign onto Edgewood Drive.
  • Proceed about 1000 yards to Crescent Beach on your right.
